Chief Joseph yes The pack had a new den site this year., north of the Park. 6 pups, 6 adults
Crystal Creek
renamed Molly's Pack
no No. 5F had only one pup in 1999. It apparently, did not survive. No. 5 may be too old No pups observed this year.
Druid Peak yes 42F, 106, and 40F all gave birth in separate dens. #40 killed on 5/8/00.
103 may have pups too.
An unknown gray wolf has joined the pack. Pack total: 27

Rose Creek yes #18  denned @ #9's old den site.
#8M found dead 7/4/00.

This pack is very fragmented and actually consists of several sub-packs.

Sheep Mountain no This pack did not count as a breeding pack in 1999 due to the alpha  male being killed. No pups observed
Soda Butte renamed Yellowstone Delta pack yes 14F did not give birth in 3 years and has not had a mate. She was recently killed by a moose. 7 pups  6 adults
Sunlight Basin yes
4 pups  6 adults
Teton no Alpha male was killed on hwy in 1999 and was not counted as a breeding pack. 1 adult  5-6 yearlings--no pups
Beartooth Pair yes #9F  denned with a new mate but no pups were born, or did not survive. #9F has denned in thick timber-no pups. A new unknown adult has been observed with #9.
Swan Lake Pack yes #152 originally from the Leopold pack #152F and her mate + 5 pups
Taylor Peaks Pack yes newly formed 4 pups 3 adults
Wall Creek Pack N/A newly formed N/A--possible
Absaroka yes #153F  denned with 2 males-12 miles away 153F and 164M denned in thick timber  2 adults 3-5 pups
