Travel through and learn while viewing Yellowstone Park's wildlife
and geothermal features. Trip features the "Lower Grand Loop" with stops
in the Lower, and Upper geyser basins including, but not limited to:
Fountain Paint Pot, Old Faithful, Geyser Hill, and the Grand Canyon
of the Yellowstone, along with many other features and attractions.
We generally
stop for lunch, about 1:00 pm at a quiet woodland picnic site before
continuing our tour along Yellowstone Lake---the largest high elevation
lake in North America. Time permitting and season we may also make a
stop at West Thumb geyser basin.
We also
do a really great 2.4 mile hike while visiting the Grand Canyon of the
Yellowstone. ( As far as I know I am the only guide in Yellowstone that
leads his clients on this hike).
There is
much more to this tour than what I have listed here, plus, I don't want
to give away all the secrets!
Learn about
the interesting and little known facts regarding Yellowstone Park, the
different types of thermal and geological features and how they are
formed, Yellowstone park history, grizzly bears, wolves, etc... We also
make numerous stops for wildlife as we encounter them.
This
is the best trip for the first time visitor, and within the first day
of your arrival. Covers all the major features, and saves you time and
allows you to enjoy the remainder of your stay more constructively.

After spending a day with me in Yellowstone Park
you will have a better understanding of where everything is located,
some of the better hiking trails, where the wildlife "hot spots" are,
areas to maybe avoid, and recommendations on where to go and what to
see during the remainder of your visit.
I make plenty
of bathroom stops along the way. Most guests are amazed at how large
the park is, and how easy it would have been to "get lost" wandering
around the park without a guide to show them the right stops to make,
and which ones to pass by, and how much they saw and learned on the
tour in one day.
This tour
is for small, private family groups of 1-5 guests. Many of the other
tour guides will pack you into a 15 passenger van or 47 passenger bus.
You have to pay a little bit more for this "one - on - one private service",
but all of my guests think its worth it, and so do I.
I walk with you the entire time we are in the park,
explaining what you are seeing, how the feature was formed, and how
it operates. Many of the other tour companies dump you off in
the parking lot and give you a time to return.
This is
a custom private charter guide service, with a one - on - one personalized
vacation tour program designed to make this a vacation of a lifetime!
Rate: $600.
