Hiking Yellowstone Park, guided hiking tours Yellowstone National Park

Hikes vary in length and difficulty and are based on the guests abilities and desires. I have many favorite trails within Yellowstone Park that I love to share with visitors. Hiking trails are located in different locations throughout Yellowstone park, so no matter what your interest or lodging location I can come up with several options for you to choose from.

The Canyon, and Old Faithful Districts are without a doubt my absolute favorite locations to hike in and provides us with many different options. From easy trails to view natural bridges, or around Yellowstone Lake, to moderate or even difficult trails with views of the Grand Canyon, open meadow terrain, high elevation scenic views, and backcountry geothermal and geyser basins, I can always find a trail that fits your ability and interests.

Beautiful scenery, abundant wildflowers, geysers, hot springs, waterfalls, and various wildlife can be among many of the hikes highlights. Only 2% of Yellowstone park visitors venture more than 100 yards from their cars. Leave the road, crowds, and noise behind and see the REAL Yellowstone!

No matter the area, or interest I can put some hiking options together for you and your family. This is a great way to get out and see some of the real Yellowstone---the backcountry.

This is also a great option for those visitors who may be apprehensive about hiking in "bear country", and want to learn how to hike safely in grizzly bear habitat, or would just feel safer having a guide along.

Day trips only. If you are interested in multiple day overnight trips you will need to contact the park service and get a list of tour operators who are licensed for overnight backpacking trips. A minimum age limit of 11 for full day hikes.
